Smart Design USA ® is a registered trademark from the Bathroom Place group. It was stablished in the year 2002 and has experienced an extraordinary growth since then. All of its products are designed to fit the U.S. standards and necessities. It's products are manufactured in China under strict testing and quality control. Smart Design is best described as being innovative, affordable, and reliable. Our warehouses are located in Pompano Beach (FL) and Hialeah (FL). Smart Design products are available for sale at the Bathroom Place stores or trough this website.
A brief overview of materials and warranty is described below:
Furniture
Most of our furniture is made with solid Rubber-Wood (Hevea brasiliensis) from Malaysia also known as "White Mahogany" or "Malaysian Oak". It has been Kiln dried under high pressure and finger-jointed to prevent wood warping. This kind of wood is not only beautiful, but is also solid and environment friendly. Some cabinets also use MDF (medium density fiberboard) covered with wood veneer form the same Rubber-Wood. They all include multi-step furniture grade finish. Hinges and drawer sliders are first quality and have life-time warranty.
Glass
All of the glass pieces used in our products have been tempered for strength and safety. Tempered glass in 5 times stronger than regular glass.
Plumbing
All of our faucets are made out of solid brass. We only use ceramic disk cartridges and guarantee them for life. Our faucets are available in two different finishes: polished chrome and satin nickel. The finishes are made to last and guaranteed against any manufacture defect or imperfection. Other plumbing fixtures (such shower heads, hand showers...) can be made out of solid brass or ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene).
Sinks
All of our sinks have been tested for durability and usability. They are made with first quality vitreous china or tempered glass.
General Warranty
1. The warranty for manufacture defects on Smart Design products is 6 months.
2. Damage caused during moving (tipping over) or during installation is not a defect or warranty issue and will not be considered as such.
3. This warranty does not cover installation or any other labor charges associated with the repair, removal, reinstallation or consequential damages.
4. The warranty does not cover product failure caused by abusive treatment, surface scratches, misuse, neglect or damage due to handling or faulty installations.
5. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and to the original installation of the product. This warranty is void if the product has been moved from its initial place of installation.
6. This warranty does not apply to local building code compliance. The buyer should check with the local related plumbing codes before installation.
